The international airport of Vlora is being built within the protected area of Vjosë- Nartë in Albania, destroying one of the most important natural areas along, including the hope for a sustainable future.
Meanwhile, from the beginning, the authorities have been positioned to alter the truth about this project.
“Stop the Airport” is a documentary – film which shows how the lack of transparency in decision-making can lead to the loss of protected areas and wildlife in Albania. “Stop the Airport”, was pro››duced by the journalist Artan Rama, the author of the investigative series “Elementi i Peste” and “Sipas Natyres”.
